Since the year 2015, we at Petra have focused our combined energy of talented teachers, parents, and administrative staff to help each student to discover their God-Given Genius.

Petra Christian Academy is a private school and is a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools. We are a non-profit 501c organization that does not receive funding from the State of Idaho, or through Federal funding. We depend on parents, churches, and local businesses to help subsidize our cost for us to continue to keep our education affordable for all Christian students.

Data shows that many students that attend Christian schools often become non-believers when they enter college. Usually, this is done to the fact that God is presented as a theory and not as the source of all knowledge.  We at Petra Christian Academy are not afraid to challenge and test our students and their beliefs through a rigorous Math, Science, and Bible curriculum and regular guest speakers from across the USA. We believe that since the Bible is the ultimate truth, it will withstand any scrutiny and test and will remain as the pinnacle of all truth.
