My home has always been Idaho. I am a simple farm girl from Nampa who had a dream to be a teacher. I always remember envying my teachers and the responsibility they had to teach wonderful topics to students. I did attend college but took a break to start a family with a wonderful mountain man. We have two grown adult daughters and two amazing high school sons. In 2003 I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a BA in Writing/English/Literature. Shortly after graduating, God laid on my heart to enter ministry. In the fall of 2003, I entered the graduate program at Northwest Nazarene University, majoring in pastoral ministry. It was during this time I took a job as a Children’s Pastor at Bethel Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho. On May 8, 2021, I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry. After completing my degree, God called me to teach, and I joined the staff at Petra Christian Academy. It has been an amazing journey that God has blessed me with, and I look forward to the future.
2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
